AN ORDINARY DAY MEETS A DIVINE INTERRUPTION – Part 1

A day in the life of Paul

AN ORDINARY DAY OF TRAVELING

A new start in the life of the Apostle Paul began on the road to Damascus but at this time his name was Saul of Tarsus. He arose that day with fuming anger and hatred towards the followers of Jesus; his agenda was to travel and further the cause of persecution against their beliefs. Little did he know that in his commute he will experience a divine counter with God himself and his intentions, perception, and heart will be forever changed. Not only will his life alter drastically but he will eventually be given a new name and mission.

YOUR DAY CAN CHANGE SUDDENLY

This Damascus road put him on a new path and destiny. We all need a Damascus road that would help us to see things differently, or better yet, to see God as He really is and not as we want Him to be. Here’s a question for you. What is your Damascus road? Do you need one in your life to help you make the right decision? If you have not yet had a Damascus road experience get ready because the Lord is going to interrupt your ORDINARY DAY with a visitation. No matter where you’re heading he will find you, meet with you, and deposit life changing words into your soul.

Since God has a plan for your life he will turn your ordinary day into something extraordinary through a timely divine interruption. The Lord will even use a simple connection with someone; maybe even a stranger, to bring you closer to him and his purpose for you. The story of Paul teaches us that if we are heading in the wrong direction in life God can change it in an instance. Of course Paul had to make that decision himself but once he did he never looked back.

In like manner, if we are on a path contrary to the Lord’s, and he speaks to us to change, we need to decide, as Paul did, to choose His road and break the rear view mirror of our past and move forward to a new purpose in Him. I will end by saying this. Are you ready for a Damascus road in your life? If you are, then be watchful and ready to hear his voice today because your divine interruption awaits.
